Introduction to Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology (Imaging and Doppler): UP101

Covers the fundamental principles of diagnostic ultrasound technology (imaging and Doppler). Intended primarily for clinicians (medical practitioners and allied health practitioners).
Accredited by the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) for the Certificate in Clinician Performed Ultrasound (CCPU) and the Certificate in Allied Health Performed Ultrasound (CAHPU). Also used in some tertiary college and university courses.
The course consists of ten lessons with images, diagrams, animated simulations and a short quiz. Each lesson will take a minimum of 30 minutes to complete. There is a final quiz with a pass mark of 75%. When you successfully complete the course, you can request a certificate of achievement.
Overall you should expect the course to take 8 to 10 hours to complete. You will have access to it for a period of 10 weeks from enrolment.

Mathematics for Ultrasound Physics: UM101

Preparatory course covering areas of mathematics needed to study ultrasound physics. Particularly recommended for students who lack a strong background in mathematics and science.
Consists of seven lessons. Each should take a minimum of 30 minutes to complete.
Overall you should expect the course to take 5 to 8 hours to complete. You will have access to it for a period of 8 weeks from enrolment.
Each lesson consists of a presentation with voice-over narration, one or more practical demonstrations, a short quiz, a set of comprehensive notes.
There is a final quiz with a pass mark of 75%. When you successfully complete the course, you can request a certificate of achievement.
